Above All Day Care will be like a second home for your children because we do everything in our power to ensure that their physical, emotional, social and educational needs are met every day. Our days are filled with enriching activities, exciting learning experiences and wholesome meals and snacks.

Above All Day Care provides a rich learning environment in which children can explore, interact and learn through the many facets of their play. Our primary goals from infant through preschool age are to prepare your children for a life of learning and to instill in them self-confidence and self-esteem.

Through books, art, music, cooking and imaginary play, just to name a few, the children learn to identify colors, shapes, numbers and the letters of the alphabet. They learn to count and to identify their address and telephone numbers.

We model and teach kindness, love, generosity and thoughtfulness. Your children will be fully prepared to meet the expectations set before them when they leave Above All Day Care and move on to Kindergarten and beyond. This Summer we are introducing Montessori material and philosophy in addition to our preschool curriculum to encourage more independence, grace, and courtesy into the life of our children.

The owner and lead teacher of Above All Daycare, Ms. Dawn holds a Master’s in Education in Montessori Teaching. She also holds a Bachelor of Liberal Studies and an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as, many years of experience in motherhood. Our teachers come highly educated and with many years of experience in child care. Miss Nicole, provider and co-teacher of Above All Daycare of Seaford, has her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, she absolutely enjoys working with the children and intends on furthering her education in the Early Childhood field. Ms. Vanessa, our lead toddler teacher is currently completing her NAMC Montessori Teaching Certification. She is ambitious and incredibly sincere. Our provider of Merrick, Miss Christy has a Bachelor’s in Business and an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as, several years of experience in the daycare industry. Our lead head teacher, Ms. Joni, holds a Master's in Educational Technology. She developed a full curriculum for our 2-5 year old children that prepares them well above the Kindergarten level. Our assistant teacher, Miss Trish completed her CDA (Child Development Associates), holds an Associate degree in Liberal Studies, and has several years in the child care industry.

My twins were two of the first children to join Above All Day Care when they opened their doors in the Fall of 2010. As I nervously dropped them off on that first day, I had no idea what a wonderful experience lay ahead for both me and for my children. I am a new parent in a home where both parents need to work so I was sad and nervous knowing I had to find a daycare for my daughter. I was so lucky to find Above All Day Care. The school was absolutely spotless. I knew the minute Dawn (school director) showed me around that this was the school for my little girl. What I really liked was the teacher to child ratio compared to other daycares. I knew that my daughter would get a lot of attention and the love she gets from the staff, she is treated as if she was their own child. She absolutely loves being there. My only problem sometimes is she doesn't want to leave when I pick her up! I would recommend Above All Day Care to anyone looking for daycare.

I can't say enough about Dawn, her girls and the facility in general at Above All Day Care! We had our daughter in another daycare and thought that it was a nice place and that she was getting quality care there. Well, my feelings changed after about a year and my husband and I started to look for a new place for her. We knew within 10 minutes of meeting Dawn and seeing the daycare that this was where we wanted for our little girl! One of the many impressionable factors for us was that there were no TV's anywhere. The daycare my daughter was at had a TV on from the minute they turned on the lights in the room in the morning to the minute they closed for the evening - it was terrible! You pay all this money for a TV to babysit your child! Where was the human interaction and stimulation?? I remember when we walked through Above All Day Care that we asked Dawn if there were any TV's and she said, "oh no, we don't have any TV's here, it is our responsibility to entertain the children". Excited is to say the very least about how my husband and I felt.

Dawn and all the teachers LOVE what they do and it shows! The facility is above and beyond clean and cheerful. It makes me wish I was a kid again! I drop off my daughter every day and leave there with the most secure and confident feeling about where she is, who she is with, what she is eating and her overall safety and well being. We love Above All Day Care and look forward to the next few years that she'll be there growing and learning around teachers that genuinely care! Dawn broke the mold when she started this day care!!
